BetterTogether is a modular bike rack designed to be a functional sculpture.

An individual unit would be an ineffective hitch for a bike lock, which could easily slide up and off the arms.

Two or more units, however, once fastened together with security bolts, can keep a bike securely in place. With the ability to be arranged in infinite configurations (zigzags, curves, circles, etc), the sculptural possibilities are endless. The piece talks about personal potential, and how it sometimes takes the help of another to fulfill that potential.
